Middle School Textbook Copy-Edit

I have a combined Science and History textbook written for middle schoolers that now sits at a little over 200 pages. All the research and fact-checking have already been completed; what I need is a polished manuscript that flows smoothly for twelve- to fourteen-year-old readers.

Your focus will be on tightening grammar and spelling, smoothing awkward wording, and adjusting sentence structure or vocabulary where it will boost clarity without diluting academic rigor. I work in Microsoft Word, so please use Track Changes for every modification and leave brief comments when a larger rewrite is necessary.

Deliverables
• One Word file with all edits visible in Track Changes
• A second, clean version with all changes accepted

Turnaround time is flexible within reason, but I’d like steady progress updates so I can review sections as you finish them.
