Kindle Formatting & KDP Upload
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a completed non-fiction manuscript sitting in Microsoft Word and a finished cover design. I now need it professionally prepared for Kindle Direct Publishing and placed live in my KDP account.
Scope of work
• Re-format the Word document for Kindle, applying clean, consistent chapter headings and a fully linked table of contents so readers can navigate easily on any device.
• Run the file through Kindle Previewer (or similar) to catch layout issues before upload.
• Insert the ready-made cover and any required front- or back-matter.
• Upload the final file to my KDP dashboard, select the correct settings (non-fiction category, keywords, trim, etc.) and confirm that the preview passes without errors.
Deliverables
1. Kindle-ready file (EPUB or KPF) that meets KDP guidelines.
2. Confirmation screenshots showing the successful upload and preview inside my KDP account.
I will provide the Word manuscript, the cover image, and KDP access once we start. If you have recent KDP experience and can turn this around quickly, let’s get my book live.
