Hyperlinked Glossary for 62-Page Document

I have a 62-page Microsoft Word file in which every term that needs defining is already highlighted. I now need each of those highlights converted into an internal link that jumps straight to a glossary positioned at the end of the same document.

Inside that glossary, the definition must be followed by active links (or cross-references) back to every page where the term appears, so the reader can navigate in both directions with a single click. Word’s built-in bookmarks, hyperlinks, or cross-reference features are all fine as long as they work reliably in the final .docx.

Scope of work
• Turn every highlighted term into a one-click link to its glossary entry.
• Build the glossary after the main content, listing each definition once.
• Under each definition, show the page numbers where the term is used, each page number being a live link back to that spot.
• Preserve all existing formatting and pagination.

Deliverable
A fully hyperlinked .docx that opens with no warnings and lets any user move seamlessly between content and glossary on both Windows and Mac versions of Word.
