Formatting & Typesetting job for Advanced MS word users (No research needed)
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for an experienced professional to format and typeset an academic thesis (already written). The task involves cleaning up the entire document and ensuring it meets the following formatting standards:
Scope of Work:
Apply consistent and professional formatting throughout the document.
Use Georgia or Palatino Linotype fonts: 12 pt for main text, 11 pt minimum for tables, figures, and captions.
Set the document to A4 page size with uniform margins on all pages.
Ensure consistent spacing with a minimum of 1.25 line spacing throughout the text (more better if possible).
Use Word Styles to format all headings and subheadings properly for automatic Table of Contents generation (I have done the generation of TOC).
Ensure figures and plots are properly sized, aligned, and readable.
Auto-generate and format all table and figure captions using Microsoft Word’s caption tool, with consistent numbering and styling.
Insert section-specific headers in the top-right corner of each page (except the first page of each section), displaying the section title (e.g., “Results and Discussion”, “Materials and Methods”) to aid navigation.
Use section breaks to enable unique headers per section.
Ensure the final document does not exceed 90 pages (including figures and tables).
No additional writing please, scientific addition or research is required , just formatting only.
Deliver the final document as a fully editable Microsoft Word (.docx) file. Should be done within 4 to 5 hours. So, technically the same day job. I will do only one review and that is it.
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, especially with styles, headers/footers, captions, section breaks, and document layout.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure uniform formatting.
Experience formatting academic theses or dissertations preferred.
Ability to meet a tight deadline (work to be completed within 5 to 10 hours after acceptance).
