Fix Word Section Numbering
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m working with a single Microsoft Word file that actually contains 14 separate volumes. Each volume already lives in its own Word section, yet the page numbers run straight through from start to finish, so the current numbering no longer aligns with the table of contents.
What I need is simple but precise: reset the page numbers to 1 at the beginning of every section and keep them in standard Arabic numerals—no prefixes, no suffixes. Once that is in place, the table of contents must reflect the new numbering automatically.
Please open the file, adjust the section settings, apply the correct page-number format, and refresh the TOC so everything lines up exactly.
Deliverables
• The corrected Word document with each volume starting at page 1
• A brief note (a few lines is enough) outlining the steps you took, so I can maintain the file in future
