Excel-Driven Word Autofill
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a straightforward way to push rows of information from a single Excel workbook into multiple Word documents so that each file is generated automatically with the correct fields already filled out. The goal is to eliminate copy-and-paste work: I open (or run) one process, point it at the spreadsheet, and out come ready-to-send Word files.
Here is what I know so far:
• All source data already lives in Excel.
• The destination documents are standard Word templates (.dotx / .docx) with bookmarks, content controls, or merge fields—whatever you think is best.
• I would like to keep everything inside Microsoft Office (VBA, Power Automate, or native Mail Merge are all acceptable), provided it remains easy to maintain if column names or template wording changes later.
Deliverables I’m looking for:
1. A working solution (macro-enabled workbook, Word template, or small add-in) that reads the spreadsheet and produces the filled Word files in a chosen output folder.
2. Clear, step-by-step instructions so a non-technical colleague can repeat the process or adjust field mappings in the future.
3. Brief handover call or document summarizing how the code is structured and where to tweak it if templates evolve.
If you’ve built something similar—particularly with VBA, Mail Merge, or Office Scripts—let me know. A quick demo or screenshot will help me see whether your approach matches what I need.
