Edit DOCX Internal Metadata
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need the internal metadata in a collection of .docx files rewritten—not the Windows file properties, only what Word shows under File > Info > Properties > Advanced. The task is purely to modify three fields:
• Creation Date
• Modified Date
• Total Editing Time
I will send the documents one by one. For each file I will supply the exact values that should appear, and I expect the returned document to open flawlessly in Word with those new timestamps reflected.
How you achieve this is up to you—Open XML SDK, python-docx, PowerShell, or another reliable method—as long as the text content stays intact and the new metadata persists after saving or sharing the file.
Along with the updated documents, a short note (or script if you automate the process) outlining your approach would be appreciated so I can repeat it later.
