Digitize 100-Page Scientific Manuscript

Job ID: 40426501

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

I have a collection of well over one hundred scanned, typewritten pages of a scientific manuscript. Many of these pages also carry handwritten corrections, insertions, and marginal notes that must be faithfully brought into the body of the text.

Your task is to convert every page into a clean, consistently styled Microsoft Word document that reads as if it were born-digital. This includes:

• Accurate transcription of all typewritten text
• Integration of the handwritten annotations at the correct locations, clearly distinguished where appropriate (e.g., brackets or comments)
• Consistent heading hierarchy, paragraph spacing, and citation formatting
• Replication of any simple tables or inline equations using Word’s native tools rather than images

I will supply high-resolution scans in batches. For quality control, I’ll review the first 10 pages you complete; once those are approved, you can proceed with the remaining files. The final deliverable is a single, well-structured .docx file ready for peer-review submission.

If you have strong experience transcribing historical or technical documents and are comfortable interpreting handwritten edits, I look forward to working with you.
