Design Internal Research Report

Job Title: Designer needed for Cover, Back Cover & Content Page Layout — Climate/ESG Research Report
We need a designer to create the visual design for a research report ro be published. The report is ~60–65 pages and aimed at an institutional/policy audience. We're looking for a clean, credible, professional design — not a marketing-style layout.
What we need designed:
Cover page — report title, subtitle, and partner/funder logos, with a strong visual concept tied to climate risk and textile manufacturing (no generic stock imagery)
Back cover — matching bookend design with space for a short summary/abstract and logos
Content page template — a master layout to apply across ~60 pages: chapter opener pages, body text pages, table/figure styling, headers/footers with page numbers, plus a short style guide so we can apply it ourselves to the rest of the content
What we'll provide:
Final manuscript (Word doc) with all text, tables, and figures
All required logos
Requirements:
Experience designing reports, whitepapers, or similar long-form institutional/development-sector publications
Proficiency in InDesign (or equivalent) — please share a portfolio with similar work
Comfortable working from a Word manuscript and producing a reusable page template, not just a one-off cover
Deliverables:
Print-ready PDF (with bleed/crop marks) and a web-optimised PDF
Editable source files (InDesign or equivalent, fonts/links packaged)
