Creative Manuscript Proofreading & Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a set of creative-writing manuscripts and companion articles that are ready for a meticulous final polish before publication. I need each document examined line by line for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and typographical slips, with awkward phrasing smoothed out while the author’s original voice remains intact. Consistency in tone, terminology, and formatting is critical, so you will follow the existing house style and highlight anything that drifts from it.
Beyond the words themselves, the physical look of the files matters. I’m counting on you to verify page numbers, spacing, and heading hierarchy so that the finished layout is as clean and professional as the prose. Microsoft Word Track Changes (or an equivalent tool in Google Docs) will be used so I can see every adjustment you make.
Deliverables for each piece:
• A marked-up file showing all edits
• A clean, ready-to-publish version
I will share the manuscripts in batches, and we will agree on reasonable turnaround times for each. If you have a keen editorial eye, a love of creative writing, and the discipline to meet deadlines, I look forward to working with you.
