Word add-in „comments“
Description:
The users, typically text editors resp. proofreaders, enter many comments while correcting the text in MS Word. These comments are mainly standard comments and are repeating. In order to ease the users’ job, an add-in is required which enables to pick from a variety of standard comments, but shall also allow entering and storing own comments by the user.
Technical:
Word 2013 and above. Win/Mac/Web.
Offline availability.
Security:
The add-in shall also work when the user is offline. Once online, it shall automatically update the add-in e. g. when new standard comments are entered by admin or when functional issues require an update.
Every user gets access to the add-in by username and password provided by admin.
Once a user is removed/blocked by admin, he/she shall not be able to utilize the add-in anymore.
Misc.:
The standard comments shall be listed under pre-defined categories. Admin shall have the provision to modify, remove, enter categories and standard comments. Users cannot remove these standard comments.
The user can enter, modify and remove his/her own comments.
A search bar should exist for searching and finding comments.
