Convert Scanned Papers to Word
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need several handwritten and scanned academic papers transcribed into clean, fully-editable Microsoft Word documents. The scans are clear, and I will share them as PDFs or images along with any naming conventions you should follow.
Accuracy is my top priority: every heading, citation, footnote, and special character has to mirror the source. Where mathematical symbols or equations appear, please recreate them with Word’s built-in Equation Editor or insert a clearly-marked placeholder so I can review later.
Turnaround matters too. Once we start, I’d like a short sample—about three pages—within the first 24 hours so we can confirm formatting and style. After that, steady daily delivery is fine as long as the timeline we agree on is met.
Deliverables
• Separate .docx file for each paper, named exactly as instructed
• Layout matching the original scans, including headings, italics, superscripts, and spacing
• A brief completion log noting page counts and any sections that were difficult to read
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of the text transcribed, < 1 % typographical errors
• Files open flawlessly in Word 2016 or later with no broken formatting
If this sounds straightforward, let’s get started—I’ll send the first batch of scans as soon as you accept the project.
