Compile Word Manuscript With Endnotes

Job ID: 40282010

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have ten separate Word chapters, roughly 225 pages in total, each finished with its own end-notes section. I need them merged into one seamless .docx while keeping every chapter’s notes exactly where they are—immediately after that chapter, not pooled at the very end.

As you combine the files, please give the manuscript a light polish: apply one uniform font and line spacing, tidy any wayward paragraph indents, and make sure page breaks or section breaks are inserted so the individual end-note numbering behaves properly. No heavy re-design is required; the original headings, italics, and other author styling should stay intact.

Once everything sits in one file, generate an automatic table of contents based on the existing chapter headings so I can update it with a single click later.

Deliverable
• A single, well-structured .docx containing all ten chapters, individual end-notes preserved, consistent font & spacing applied, and an updatable table of contents.

If you regularly handle long documents in Microsoft Word—using section breaks, linked end notes, and TOC fields—this will be a quick, clean project. Let me know your turnaround time and any questions you might have.
