18th-Century French Transcription
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an 8 ½-page handwritten letter from the late-18th century that I need transcribed—word for word—into clear, modern-font French. No translation, just an exact reading of what is on the page. The handwriting is ornate and, at times, difficult to decipher, so solid paleography skills and native-level French are essential.
Scope of work
• Read the original scans (I will supply high-resolution PDFs).
• Reproduce every word in a Microsoft Word document, preserving original line breaks and spelling where possible.
• Flag any sections that remain genuinely illegible with [illisible] so I can locate them quickly later.
Deliverable
A single .docx file containing the full, neatly formatted text, ready for printing.
