Bangla Audio Transcription Needed
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Task: Transcribe audio files in their native language.
File Description: I have a few research interviews in Bangla, the length can vary from 45 minutes to over 1 hour 30 minutes. On average a file is about 1 hour 15 minutes. Most interviews are group interviews with 5-6 people. A few are individual interviews. Total files to transcribes are not confirmed - it may be as few as 5 files or as many as 15 files (my interviews are still ongoing).
Special requirements: I need line by line transcriptions in the same language (Bangla), in the avro keyboard format (kalpurush font). It would be preferable if speakers could be uniquely identified based on voice. If not, then distinguishing interviewee/interviewer is enough. There are other small requirements such as noting if people laugh or multiple people agree with each other, etc. See the attached document with further instructions and examples.
Quotation: I would prefer to pay based on amount of audio hours worked. Therefore, I need to know your price for each hour of file to transcribe, and the time it will take you complete the work for each file. I am on a budget so cost is important, but I will also prioritize people with: quality of work, speed of transcription ,understanding my instructions, confidentiality about the data. The interviews are sensitive and they concern garment industry so I cannot accept anyone with family connections to that industry due to conflict of interest.
