Automated Will Template System
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced legal-tech specialist to build a document-automation workflow for wills. The end result should let me generate clean, client-ready PDFs or Word files from a user-friendly questionnaire while keeping the underlying clauses fully editable.
Scope of work
• Create customizable templates: simple wills, living wills, testamentary trusts, and revocable trusts and other estate planning documents.
• Design a smart Q&A form that maps each answer to the correct clause set, conditional text, and signature blocks.
• Package the solution so I can update wording without touching code.
• Deliver a functional prototype plus clear setup instructions and a short video walkthrough so my team can maintain it.
Technical notes
I’m open to HotDocs, Gavel, Woodpecker, Formstack Documents, or a well-structured Microsoft Word content-control system—use whichever lets us expand later to add more documents. Version control for clause libraries and clean document styling are important.
Timeline
A detailed plan and initial prototype within two weeks, refinements the following week, and final hand-over once testing is complete.
If you’ve built similar automated legal documents before, share a brief example or screen-grab so I can see your interface approach.
