Visio Plan and Device List
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am using Visio Pro for marking up plans. I would like, if possible, to make a template for a sort of interactive plan. When I copy paste a shape to a location on the plan, I would like to be able to add shape data , such as Device ID, IP Address, etc. when finished I would like to produce a Device list using all shape data with rows per shape.
If possible, I would like to have a global field per Visio drawing that cannot be duplicated. This would be the Device ID field, which all Shapes on the drawing would have.
The goal is to shave huge time off site documentation by maintaining only one document instead of two.
First up, is this even possible to do? If so, I would like to talk about amount to achieve my goal.
