I have a client who has implemented the following technologies:
* (Legacy) Exchange Hold - Indefinite
(Modern) Microsoft Purview Hold - 15 Years
*Microsoft Purview - Anything not labelled will be deleted after 2 years
*Data Classification Label on emails - Compatible with the above policies. A label hold policy can be set for 30 years, which supersedes the 15-year policy.
To help them understand these policies, I need you to create Microsoft Visio diagrams illustrating examples of different scenarios. These scenarios are listed below:
*User A: Has neither Exchange Litigation Hold nor Purview. If data is deleted, it is gone forever.
*User B: Has both the modern 15-year policy and Exchange Litigation Hold. When a non-labelled email is deleted, the Exchange Litigation Hold policy takes precedence.
*User C: Has the modern 15-year policy. If a non-labelled email is deleted, it will be retained for 15 years.
*User D: Has the Data Classification Policy. If an email is not labelled, it will be deleted after 2 years and can be recovered indefinitely or for 15 years, depending on the applied policy.
Please create a separate Visio diagram for each scenario using icons to represent the different technologies (e.g., a mail icon for emails). You may need to be creative in representing Purview and email deletion. Additionally, please include eDiscovery as a method of recovery in the diagrams.
