AVEVA modeller to develop an asset-level green hydrogen production model

Job ID: 40122862

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

Summary
We are seeking an experienced AVEVA modeller to develop an asset-level green hydrogen production model using AVEVA software for an academic techno-economic analysis (TEA).
The work will cover two comparative case studies:
• Case A: Offshore wind-powered hydrogen production
• Case B: Onshore solar PV-powered hydrogen production
Each case will include five sub-scenarios (Sc1-Sc5) reflecting changes in water supply, electrolyser technology (PEM vs alkaline), production location (offshore vs onshore), electricity source (renewable vs grid, and hydrogen export configuration.
Using AVEVA tools, the modeller will:
• Build plant configuration and layout models (electrolysers, balance-of-plant, utilities, storage, export interfaces)

• Define equipment and asset lists suitable for CAPEX and
OPEX structuring
• Implement scenario variations by modifying asset configurations and assumptions
• Provide cost-ready outputs and a short technical note documenting system boundaries and assumptions
This role focuses on infrastructure and asset modelling (not thermodynamic or electrochemical simulation).
Process performance inputs (e.g. kWh/kg H2) will be

Outcome: a consistent, AVEVA-based hydrogen production model enabling a robust TEA comparison between offshore wind and onshore solar PV pathways.
