Simple Installation of Redmine with MS SQL Server back-end

I would like a clean installation through the release files. I've considered some of the installer packages but would like a clean installation. I've attempted the install and ran into incompatibility issues with certain gems through Ruby on Rails. I would ideally like a walkthrough on it. Where i can replicate the steps.
