Job Description:
Looking for SQL Developer to join the Team to perform SQL development and support for applications utilizing MS SQL Server Applications. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid educational background and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization with a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
Job responsibilities of the position include:-
1. Development of high quality database solutions
2. Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
3. Performing Unit Testing on development and test databases
4. Review and interpret ongoing development/maintenance requirements
5. Research data requirements
6. Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
7. Troubleshooting and problem-solving reported issues Troubleshooting
8. Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
9. Prepare documentations and specifications
Skills / Experience:
Required:
1. 5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
2. Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
3. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
4. Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
5. Familiarity with the practical application of SQL databases
6. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
7. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
8. Team player
9. Good time-management skills
10. Have worked with Microsoft SQL Server DBA
11. Proven experience with agile methodologies along with complete SDLC cycle and best practices.
12. Have worked in cross-functional environment to deliver solutions.
13. Collaborate other I/S teams within Medline
14. Experience working with and managing expectations of business stakeholders in various
geographies.
15. Strong business acumen & understanding of functional processes and how they map to
Technical area.
16. Have worked with Vendors or Service providers to augment services provided by internal team.
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to liaison with all stakeholders.
