Login function for Blazor Server App with Sql Server Database

Hello! I'm creating a Blazor Server web app with SQL Server as database and I wanna create a login page, I don't wanna use the default login from Blazor because I want something basic. I already have the database created and the models from it, I also have the login page with the edit form, but I need a function that takes the email and password from the edit form and verify if the user exists in database. I would really appreciate your help! Thanks!
