Create Web API to update SQLServer database from external source

My project requires creating a web API to update a SQL Server database with data from an external source. The data to be updated will include text data. The source of the data will be multiple text files stored in a GitHub repository. No authentication or authorization mechanisms are required for this API. This API should be able to run efficiently and securely update the database on its own. This project requires experience with web APIs and knowledge of related technologies and protocols. The final WebAPI should run within a docker container.
