Migrate Excel Schedule to MS Project

I have a fully-built project plan sitting in Excel, complete with start dates, durations, and every task-to-task dependency already mapped out. What I need now is that same plan reconstructed in Microsoft Project so I can use the software’s Gantt views, critical-path calculations, and built-in reporting for day-to-day project scheduling.
Because all predecessors and successors are already spelled out, the job is largely a matter of importing the data accurately, matching each Excel column to the correct MS Project field, and confirming that the resulting network logic mirrors what is in the spreadsheet. I am aiming for a highly detailed file with every task linked, so the finish-to-start, start-to-start, or other relationship types must transfer flawlessly.
