Microsoft Project Construction Schedule

Job ID: 40121728

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I already have a basic construction programme in Microsoft Project; what I need now is for someone to bring it to life. The file contains only task headings, so your job is to add sensible start- and finish-dates, apply realistic durations, and create true logical links so the entire schedule flows the way a construction site actually operates.

The scope is limited to construction and installation activities—no design, planning, or procurement phases. I’m looking for moderate detail: each main activity should stand on its own line with the essential predecessors and successors connected, but I don’t want to dive into dozens of tiny sub-tasks. Think practical site-level headings such as groundworks, superstructure, MEP first-fix, finishes, commissioning, handover, and similar.

Deliverables that will let me sign off quickly:
• A cleaned-up .mpp file with all construction and installation tasks dated and linked.
• Critical path visible and a quick note (inside the file or a short PDF) highlighting any key sequencing or float observations.

If you work daily in Microsoft Project and understand construction logic, this should be straightforward. Once I receive the updated file I can review immediately and turn around feedback the same day, so we can wrap the job fast.
