Time-Based Parking Zone Occupancy Map Developer

Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled freelancer to create a time-based map preferably using Power BI (however suggestions are welcomed). The map will show parking bay occupancy (Yes / No). With the occupancy displayed in 15 minute intervals. The occupancy needs to be calculated (e.g. Start time for the parking is 9:30, paid for two hours, therefore occupied at 9:30, 9:45, 10:00, 10:15 etc). The time slider will show the occupancy across many parking bays for each 15 minute intervals.

Project Details:
• Map Visualisation: Develop a dynamic map with a time slider to display parking zone occupancy between 9 am and 5:30 pm across all polygons in 15-minute intervals.
• Data Integration: Merge and process two dataset exports to create a unified dataset for analysis.
• Data Functions: Calculate and visualize the occupancy of parking bays based on transaction start and end times.
• Colour Coding: Implement color-coding on the map for polygons to represent occupancy levels: green (0-40% low occupancy), orange (40-80% medium occupancy), and red (80-100% full occupancy).
• Power BI Integration: Utilise Power BI for map display and data view of the two datasets.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in data visualization and mapping projects.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and integration.
• Knowledge of Power BI (preferred) or a similar platform for dynamic map creation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results within the project timeline.
Deliverables:
• Dynamic time-based map with a time slider.
• Integrated and processed dataset for bay occupancy analysis.
• Colour-coded map polygons indicating occupancy levels.
