Outlook Migration
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I manage my contacts, emails, tasks & notes in Outlook on my PC. I currently synch all this to my iphone (and also host my email domain, islandplaces.ca) via GoogleWorkspace. I am looking to switch these 2 functions to Outlook365 and need some help (details below). Would you be able to help me with this?

Hi Russell,
Yes, the trifecta of Apple, Google and Microsoft will always have limitations. The ones you detailed are mostly well known. The closer you can get to having ONE provider for all your things the better. If you absolutely need Outlook you should probably switch to Office365, so they work a little easier together. I don't deal with Microsoft, but when you find someone who will move it for you, just let me know and I'll be happy by sending you the codes you'll need to move your domain.

Hi Gord.
Long time, hope you are well.
I have been having issues with above for awhile and am wondering if you can help with addressing, specifically:
1. Contacts - revised info for existing contact not synching from Gmail to PC Outlook
I noticed that certain contacts on my iphone contained info (phone numbers, addresses, etc) that were not showing on Outlook on my PC [e.g. phone/address info for McKeever, McBride]. They are present GoogleWorkspace but somehow not making their way to outlook on my PC. Curiously, I can successfully:
• update on PC and it synchs to iPhone
• add/delete entire contacts at either end (PC Outlook and iphone) and that synchs successfully. SynchStatus on my PC shows no error in synching contacts.
2. Tasks – opposite to above, don’t synch at all from PC Outlook to Google (Tasks, I think) and then iphone
3. Notes – similar to above, don’t synch at all from PC Outlook to Google (Keep, I think) and then iphone
4. Mail – although this synchs well, occasionally all or most of my mail disappears from my PC, only to reappear a few hours later. Obviously troubling.
I am wondering if this can be fixed within GoogleWorkspace, or if I’d be better off switching top say Outlook365?
I plan to get a new pc and iphone in the next handful on months (waiting until iphone 14 512gb model is more available) and obviously will need to migrate everything at such time. I just thought I’d mention this in case pertinent at all….
