Gmail accounts will not add to outlook

I am having trouble adding my Gmail accounts to Outlook and need help. When I try to add the account, I'm receiving an error that says "Cannot connect to server". I know that I'm using the correct server settings for Gmail in Outlook, as I've already tried adding these Gmail accounts to other email clients and devices. I need assistance testing my configurations and making sure that I'm able to get my accounts working properly in Outlook.
