Microsoft Teams Communication System Setup and Training Specialist
Budget: $20 – $30 NZD
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelancer to assist our organization, Springbrook, in setting up and training our employees on Microsoft Teams, the new communication system we plan to adopt. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity to support our transition from Connecteam to Microsoft Teams.
Responsibilities:
Assess Communication Needs: Analyze the current communication structure and work with relevant stakeholders to identify department-specific requirements.
System Setup: Create an organized and efficient communication structure in Microsoft Teams by setting up Teams, Channels, and permissions based on the identified needs.
Data Migration: If required, migrate important data and conversations from Connecteam to Microsoft Teams.
User Training: Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for all employees, ensuring they are proficient in using Microsoft Teams' features.
Mobile and Tablet Optimization: Configure the system to be accessible and user-friendly on mobile and tablet devices, specifically catering to our production floor workers.
Integration with Outlook: Integrate Microsoft Teams with Microsoft Outlook to facilitate smooth communication between the two platforms while ensuring emails remain for formal communication.
Governance and Security: Implement proper governance practices and ensure data security and privacy in line with the organization's policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in setting up and training employees on Microsoft Teams or similar communication platforms.
Proficiency in organizing and structuring communication systems for businesses of similar size and complexity.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to conduct effective training sessions.
Familiarity with mobile and tablet optimization for messaging apps.
Understanding of data migration processes and security considerations.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Location: Remote (New Zealand resident preferred)
