Resolving Microsoft 365 email issues

We use Microsoft 365 for our emails. Since yesterday (Wed in North America), we have been receiving emails only occasionally and our sent emails have not been sending. We are looking to hire an individual with M365 email experience to resolve the issue.

Note: the emails are showing in the sent items in the web version of Outlook, so the issue is not with the local installation.
