Repair Outlook Express 6 on XP
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have Outlook Express 6 running on XP on 2 different computers. On one computer, OE will not open ANY email. I watch task manager and I get "not responding" about 2 seconds after clicking on any email to read it, new or old, or in any folder. For about 2 weeks, it has been very slow at opening the first email after restarting the computer, but then subsequent emails opened fine.
I was wondering about copying some files from the working OE to the non-working OE to try to fix it. I've also bought OE Classic and it pulled about 10% of the folders over before running into an error and not going farther.
I am going to have to migrate to Win 10, but I need to be able to read these old emails, as they have lots of useful info.
I'm looking for advice for how to proceed.
