Microsoft Exchange indexing specialities required

we are looking into a massive Exchange repo. it has millions of records. It is taking lot of time processing those emails. Looking forward to optimise the indexing before doing search/filter actions on the data. please only bid if you are good in NoSQL and RDMBS and understand the indexing architecture.
