Local exchange server using BitTitan to 365 migration errors
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I stood up MS 365 for a client of mine and changed the MX record over to 365 from the old exchange server. I had to do this because of issues with the local exchange server and now I setup BitTitan to do the migration and added the IPs from the BitTitan side to the FW and it is making the connection to them. Once I begin a migration of an email to BT, it goes through, submitted, queued, migrating and then fails. It gives me this error below,
The request failed. Unable to connect to the remote server ---> Unable to connect to the remote server ---> A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. (Exchange server IP)
I checked with BT and they told me to check the logs and I see the connection succeeding and then closing. Win FW is turned off. I spoke to my FW guy and he sees the connection going out from the exchange server. All of the ports that need to be opened, are all opened. I don't know what the issue could be on the exchange server. I can get to the web from it with no issues.
