Fix & Patch latest CU - Exchange Server 2016 + O365 (On-Premise) - Hybrid Environment
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Because of upcoming changes on Microsoft ...that it is scheduled around October 13th 2023.
The basic authentication will be disabled, that's why we have to enforce the Modern Authentication in Exchange 2016.
They are stopping BASIC authentication in Exchange 2016 and 2019. So we have to enable Modern Authentication in Exchange 2016 to avoid any authentication issues, .. This will might affect all our existing users on Outlook 2010/ 2013/ 2016 & O365.
We want to keep the same architecture and actual set-up , local users that are using Outlook 2013/2016 will not be bothered and the people on O365 also , the local Mail server will continue to work as a Mail server and keeping the on-Premise communication with O365.
The goal is to Maintain the hybrid communication between your local Exchange 2016 server and Office 365.
We have a regular 2x DC - server 2012 + Exchange2016 (Local) , and hybrid environment connection "On-premise" with our O365 server (10x users) .. Also we have ADSYNC.
important ... We are using an Email-Relay Services with N-Able : https://www.n-able.com
We have our SSL certificates on godaddy.
I know that Office 2016 and Office 2019 clients support modern authentication but for our older version 2010 / 2013 then Modern Authentication will not work. We already started to upgrade theses users actualy to 2016/ 2019.
In a case after the migration we have the pop-up appears in some users .. then we need to modify the registry key to disable Basic and use modern authentication at all client side or it can be done through GPO.
-We using Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams
- No skype, no data sharing nothing else
- We use dropbox or google drive individually
The freelancer need to be very good in Microsoft Environment, Exchange / Mail server / DNS Speaking: English - French (will be an Asset)
