Exchange-RingCentral contacts integration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want a process created (or located) to "synchronize" contact records between a private Exchange server contacts folder and a user contract folder in RingCentral. Specifically, when a contact record in my private Exchange Server mailbox changes I want the the addition/change/deletion posted into my RIngCentral user profile contacts. It is not necessary at this time for the synchronization to flow in the opposite direction (i.e. from RingCentral back to Exchange) although that would be ideal.
My company operates a private Exchange server. My mailbox/user account has about 10,000 contact records. I also have a MicroSoft 365 account but I don't use it nor do I know why I have it. I do not understand what Microsfot 365 is nor why I have the account.
I learned I had the account when I found that RIngCentral offers to synchronize a users contacts with a MicroSoft 365 user account but not from a private Exchange Server. So, here's what I've identified.
Option 1: create (or identify) a process to do what's described above.
Option 2: Assuming there exists a synchronization process between Microsoft 365 and a private Exchange server contacts folder, I could push my contacts to my existing Microsoft 365 account and then have RingCentral synchronize with the Microsoft 365 account contacts. The Microsoft 365 contacts would serve only as a "gateway" to the RingCentral synchronization process. I would continue to use Outlook with my private Exchange server as my contact management tool.
Option 3: RingCentral also has the capability to import contacts from an Excel spreadsheet and, of course, we can export contacts from Outlook into Excel. But the column arrangement is not the same for the two applications so the sheet requires manipulation between the export and the import. The goal here would be to set up a recurring process which automates as much of this as possible.
I'm requesting help to figure this out and get it implemented.
