Authenticate Office365 email in Gmail

I have an Office365 email address hosted with Godaddy. I've been using Gmail's send mail as feature for years. Starting today, I keep getting 535 errors that I need to update to Microsoft Exchange settings but authentication continues to fail when I update to the exchange SMTP server.
