Power BI project to create enterprise-level visualizations based on CSV data

Job ID: 36227884

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

Project Objective:
Create an enterprise-level Power BI dashboard that shows how suppliers are progressing in their sustainability journey. The dashboard will provide detailed reports and visualizations to help procurement teams assess each supplier's sustainability journey and identify areas for improvement.

Data Sources:
CSV file that contains relevant information about each supplier's sustainability journey, including their progress to date, any issues encountered, and their plans for future improvement. The data will be transformed and loaded into the Power BI data model to create a dashboard that is interactive and easy to use.

Dashboard Design:
Dashboard will be designed to enable procurement teams to easily see how each supplier is progressing on their own journey or across all suppliers. It will contain a range of visualizations that provide detailed insights into each supplier's sustainability journey, including charts, graphs, and tables that show key metrics such as their carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste reduction, and water usage.

Workflow Lead Approach:
The workflow lead approach will be integrated into the dashboard to enable the procurement teams to track the suppliers' sustainability journey based on their stage of progress. Each stage of progress will have specific requirements, which will be defined in the workflow. The dashboard will help to track the suppliers' progress through each stage and identify any issues that need to be addressed. For example, the workflow lead approach could consist of a four-stage process, with each stage representing a different level of sustainability maturity. Procurement teams can track suppliers' progress through the different stages and ensure that each supplier meets the sustainability requirements before moving on to the next stage.

Key Metrics:
The dashboard will include a range of key metrics, such as KPIs that reflect progress towards sustainability goals, the number of sustainability projects implemented, and the financial benefits achieved through sustainability initiatives. By tracking these metrics, procurement teams can easily assess each supplier's sustainability journey and identify areas where improvements can be made. Additionally, by tracking financial benefits, procurement teams can assess the return on investment of sustainability initiatives.

Report Types:
The reports generated by the dashboard will be classified into two types - supplier-specific reports and overall progress reports. The supplier-specific reports will provide detailed information on each supplier's sustainability journey, including their progress towards their sustainability goals, the number of sustainability projects implemented, and any issues encountered. The overall progress reports will show how all suppliers are progressing together and provide insights into the overall sustainability performance of the procurement organization.

Data Refresh:
The dashboard will be regularly updated to ensure that the information provided is accurate and up-to-date. A data refresh schedule will be established to ensure that the latest data is available for procurement teams to make informed decisions. The dashboard will be integrated with data sources such as CSV files, SharePoint, or OneDrive, and will be refreshed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, depending on the data source.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, this Power BI project aims to create an enterprise-level dashboard that provides detailed reports and visualizations on how suppliers are progressing in their sustainability journey. By integrating a workflow lead approach, key metrics, and report types, procurement teams can easily assess each supplier's sustainability journey and identify areas for improvement. The dashboard will be regularly updated to ensure that the information provided is accurate and up-to-date, allowing procurement teams to make informed decisions about supplier selection and sustainability initiatives.
