Multi-Region Low-Latency Server Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We’re looking for a server/cloud infrastructure expert to help us design and implement a multi-region hosting setup for our web application.
Goal:
Minimize latency for users worldwide by deploying our application across multiple servers/regions and routing traffic intelligently.
Key Requirements:
Plan and configure multi-region hosting (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or other suitable platforms).
Set up a global load balancing or GeoDNS solution so users are automatically routed to the nearest server/region.
Implement a CDN for all static assets (images, CSS, JS, etc.) to improve delivery speed globally.
Recommend and configure a database replication / distributed database approach to handle read and write operations efficiently across regions.
Ensure session management and authentication work seamlessly across all regions.
Design a health check and failover mechanism to maintain uptime in case of a regional outage.
Provide documentation and guidance on ongoing management and scaling of the infrastructure.
Deliverables:
Detailed architecture plan for global deployment.
Implementation or configuration of hosting, load balancer, CDN, and database replication.
Testing and verification of latency improvement from different geographies.
