Migrate Apache/PHP to Azure server
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I seek help on moving a customer’s services from a local physical Windows Server 2008 R2 machine to Azure .
On their current machine they have a few Apache/PHP applications running, and use the same server for RDS. They have an Access Application with forms on the server, and access it from Macs primarily using remote desktop! ( The Access and Forms could be rewritten but that's a different project )
I would like to have the server decommissioned and these services moved to a new and supported platform. My initial thoughts to make it ease was to migrate it to a new Windows server in Azure but if you have better ideas I’d like to hear:
For the project I need help like:
• Prepare Azure environement
• Upgrade to latests versions of Apache/PHP etc.
• Identify and move apps. ( helpt test and change DNS )
• Ensure users can acess the Access database afterwards ( Azure VPN ?)
• All the stuff I forgot.
If you are interested send me a few lines indicating how you would accomplish this, not just the standard “I can do it for 50$ “ ?
Thanks and best regards
