I’m gearing up for a dual-track certification push that covers both our public-cloud footprint and the physical datacenter layer. In the cloud, the scope is limited to workloads running on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, so the engagement must reflect each platform’s native controls and accepted audit frameworks. On-prem, I want a comprehensive review that spans security compliance, energy efficiency, and operational readiness to confirm the facility itself is audit-ready alongside our cloud stacks.
What matters most is a clear, actionable path from current state to certification-ready. I need someone who can map requirements, conduct a gap analysis, guide remediation, and supply the evidence package that an external auditor will expect.
Deliverables
• Initial gap-analysis report covering AWS, Azure, and the datacenter
• Step-by-step remediation plan with owners and timelines
• Draft policy and procedure documents where gaps exist
• Final compliance package ready for the auditor, including attestation letters and artifacts
Acceptance criteria: every required control for the selected frameworks must be either fully met or have a documented compensating measure, and the final package must be in a structure accepted by mainstream auditors (e.g., ISO, SOC, or equivalent).
