Azure Windows Server Running Esri ArcGIS Pro - Performace/Bottleneck Issues
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We have a windows server that runs in Azure where a team of about 4 -9 users remote desktop onto the server and concurrently and use a GIS mapping software called ESRI Arcpro Desktop. There is an ssd hard drive for the OS and the working data is on an attached magnetic drive. The Arcpro desktop uses the GPU mostly for processing and we have a GPU azure VM type. There is also a SQL express DB that data comes from. We will probably be upgrading the SQL standard as well.
I'm looking for someone to look at our VM setup to see if you can find out what the bottlenecks are and give some recommendations on how to fix the performance. We have tried using SSD for the data and also giving more ram and CPUs but nothing seem to completely solve.
