Seeking a Database Administrator
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are looking for a Database Administrator who will be responsible for managing computer systems that store and organise data for our projects. This include securing data and identifying areas for improvement with the infrastructure.
The primary duty of the role is to keep company's data safe, accessible, and easy to understand. The candidate should assist develop stages of a database system. Additional responsibilities include:
- Identifying who has access to the database
- Helping build the structure and design of the database
- Implementing security measures for the data
- Restoring lost data
- Building test versions and testing for bugs
- Merging databases when necessary
- Updating systems when necessary and creating data backups
- Continually monitoring database systems
