Microsoft Access Database for stamping press production - Future ERP

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

This project, if completed successfully, will lead into much larger ERP style database that our company requires. YOU MUST have experience with creating custom Access ERP databases for manufacturing businesses and provide evidence of such. The following smaller project will eventually tie into the larger one.

Scope of the project:
We require making an Access Database for Tool and Die business for our stamping presses. As mentioned above, this database will eventually be tied into a larger ERP system but for now it will be stand-alone.

Our stamping presses require detailed information regarding the tooling they will operate and also the production metrics they will log. This is called a “Die setup sheet” and “Press time log”. This database will contain all of the information pertaining to setting up the die and production and time logging.

The database must not just have functionality but also look professional with a modern, professional looking layout including graphics and color.

Everything will reside on a server as I plan to run this database on a Raspberry Pi. If you cannot provide this, it will not be mandatory but I will have to outsource this to another freelancer.

We will create milestones at the database completion and also another after a few weeks of debugging is completed. Please note that there will be continuous changes based on ease of use and functionality. Your bid must accommodate this challenge. Lastly the database must be completely open and must not have any locks preventing future modifications. I am looking to start this project immediately.

BE ADVISED: Payment is made on the successful completion of ALL ASPECTS of this database. I do not release payments based on “Best attempts” or partial completions. If you cannot accept these terms, DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT.

The timeframe for this project is to start anytime but completion is to be no later than May 1st including testing, troubleshooting and finalizing.
