MS Access versatile search function
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I need a search function that works on an existing query or form with several fields displayed as a table. Above the column headings on some (or all) of the fields is a search field for entering characters. The search function must filter the table based on the characters entered in the search field.
The most basic version only matches *x* within one column where ‘x’ is the string of characters entered in the search field.
The final version is using wildcard characters ‘*’ and ‘?’ in the search field as well as filtering on 2 or more columns.
The search function should behave very much like the MS Excel data filter function where each letter is immediately matched within the column of entries.
