MS Access Record lock and update on Google drive Database doesn't work when tow people are on making changes to the same record.
I am working on a Microsoft Access database.
The back end is on Google drive.
Client Workstation 1 is on a local computer
When I edit a record on Client workstation 1, the record lock doesn't work.
The changes made in Client workstation 1, show up on the Client 1 side.

But if the Client workstation 2 is on the same record, the record lock doesn't show the record is locked. It also doesn't show the record update.

When I exit the Main Menu on Client Workstation 2, and come back again on I can see the changes made by Client 1.

But, we want to see, the record lock function and updates made to the record.
It looks like the table on client 1 one shows the changes made on the linked table. But when I look on the table on Client 2, the changes are not seen.

Please let me know if you help me resolve this record lock and update issue.
Please note the backend database is on google drive.

When I tested two different name copies of the same access program on the same computer the record lock works.
