Access Database Path correction

Job ID: 37650369

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am in need of a freelancer who is proficient in Microsoft Access to help fix a database path issue (related to local language). The specific problem is that the end users Windows 7 computer is slowly dying, and I have cloned the PC and upgraded it to Windows 10. Under Windows 7 the application was located in c:\My Documents\Access\Inventory Management (last folder in Japanese), see attached picture 2. Default user documents folder on Windows 10 is c:\users\username\documents as you know. If I create a new database and import all the items from the one that throws error shown in attachment 3, it is able to get all of the items ok picture 2. When you upgrade to Windows 10 from 7 it automatically removes any non English language packs, and even though the path still appears to work I am guessing that is the issue. Bottom line can migrate to any new folder as long as it runs, and even upgrade to Office 365 is ok.

This is on a standalone computer I can grant remote access to for remote repair/testing.

I am sure for someone who is proficient in Access programming this is a quick fix but is outside of my current skill set.

Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access 2013 or newer (upgrade to Office 365 would be fine).
- Experience in creating new database paths
- Strong problem-solving skills in resolving database path issues
