Access-Based Material Price & Quantity Tracker
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced freelancer to develop a comprehensive Materials Quantity and Price Tracking tool on Microsoft Access. The tool will be used by 15 team members to input price data for materials on a quarterly basis. Key features required for the project include:
Key Features:
- Multiple User Access: The tool must support price entries by 15 users, all within the first month of each quarter.
- Price Entry in Euros with Currency Conversion: Prices will be entered in Euros, with automatic conversion to USD based on a dynamic foreign exchange rate that updates in real-time.
- Dynamic FX Rate: The tool should allow for FX rates to be updated whenever necessary, to ensure accurate conversions.
- Smart Entry Form with Validation: A key feature is a smart entry form that enforces specific conditions before saving any data:
a. If the price entered this month differs from last month’s price, the tool must require a reason for the price change before allowing the entry to be saved.
b. Entries without a price or without the name of the team member making the entry should be rejected and not saved.
- Price Differential Reporting: The tool must be able to generate reports showing price changes for each material across different quarters, categorized by material families.
- Pricing Report Based on Quantity: The tool should also provide the ability to generate pricing reports based on material quantities, organized by material category or family.
Ps: Sample data will be provided as a guide.
