IT Specialist for Construction Company
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
We’re a Sydney-based construction company looking for a reliable and experienced freelance IT specialist to manage and maintain our small business IT environment. We operate entirely in the cloud using Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive, with around 7-8 computers across the team.
Your role will include:
• Reviewing and optimising our current Microsoft 365 and SharePoint setup
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and device access
• Ensuring security settings (MFA, BitLocker, Antivirus) are in place and functioning
• Performing quarterly maintenance checks and updates
• Providing remote troubleshooting and support when issues arise
• Offering advice or implementing minor system improvements as needed
• This role is remote and flexible, with occasional on-site support if required.
Ideal for an independent IT professional who supports small businesses and can provide reliable remote assistance.
Sydney-based (mostly remote)
Freelance / Contract
As needed quarterly or on-call basis
Hourly or fixed-rate per engagement
