Title
SharePoint Setup for Project-Based Company (Microsoft 365 / Teams)
Description
We use Microsoft 365 and Teams. We need a SharePoint consultant to set up a simple, governed SharePoint structure for a project-based engineering/manufacturing company.
Goal: projects are the center. Each project should contain working files and released/current files across departments (mechanical, electrical, programming, purchasing, assembly, PM, service, sales). We also want separate department spaces for templates/SOPs (and business workflows like HR/Finance).
What we need you to do:
Create a Projects hub (Project folders + standard template)
Create department sites/libraries (simple and consistent)
Enable versioning and set simple permissions (groups only)
Connect key libraries into Teams tabs
Provide basic training: short guide + Loom video for department heads
Train our admin to maintain and audit compliance
What we do NOT want:
Power Apps / Power Automate / custom development
Complex metadata-first designs
Intranet build
