SharePoint Rights Lock Solution
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
My goal is to roll out a robust “Right Locks on SPO” implementation that hardens our SharePoint Online tenant while keeping everyday collaboration seamless. The top priority is airtight secure access controls, so the build must include:
• Multi-factor authentication that defaults to SMS verification
• Granular user-role assignment tied to Microsoft 365 groups and Azure AD
With those foundations in place, I also need clean permission-management logic that respects existing site collections, libraries, and item-level rules, plus straightforward maintenance scripts or PowerShell cmdlets for future admins.
Deliverables will be:
1. Well-documented source code and deployment guide (PowerShell/CSOM/PNP or equivalent)
2. Configured MFA flow (SMS) and role matrix tested in a demo tenant
3. Validation report confirming users can access only the resources mapped to their roles and that Rights Locks cannot be bypassed
4. Knowledge-handover session and concise runbook
Expectations: concise, commented code, adherence to Microsoft best practices, and delivery milestones agreed up front. Share examples of past SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 security projects and your estimated timeline so we can lock the schedule in quickly.
